Last Sunday, four people died and three were injured after several masked men shot at an outdoor party in central California, according to the police.

The police responded to a shooting notice around 6:00 p.m. in King City and found three men with gunshot wounds, whose death was certified in a garden, as indicated in a statement.

Four other people suffered gunshot wounds, including a woman who died after being transferred to Mee Memorial Hospital in King City, about 170 kilometers south of San Jose, California.

The three injured men were transferred to Natividad Hospital in Salinas.

There were several people at the party outside a house when three subjects in black clothes and masks came out of a silver car and shot. Then the suspects, who were not identified at first, fled the scene in the car.

"A subsequent investigation revealed that there was a party at the residence with several people in the front yard. A silver Kia stopped in front of the residence. Three men got out of the vehicle and fired several times at the party attendees in the front yard," described the King City police department.

The authorities pointed out that the subjects who perpetrated the attack are considered dangerous, so they asked the citizens that if they see them to notify 911, they also requested that if someone has information about the case to contact the city police department.

On February 25, the director of the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of the United States indicated that he fears that the succession of mass shootings and other acts of violence with firearms in the country desensitizes citizens, fostering apathy to find solutions.

The statements of the ATF director, Steve Dettelbach, occurred after he met with the relatives of some of the 18 people who died in a bowling alley and a bar in Lewiston, Maine, in October at the hands of a military reservist who later committed suicide.
